In MITS Report, the data presented in a report comes from a Report Source. Much like the hypercubes used in MITS Discover, a Report Source stores specific data extracted from your ERP. Reports can be created that present some or all of that data.
Report Sources can be created by any MITS Report user who has been granted permission to do so in their user account settings by an administrator.
ERPs use different types of databases to store data. MITS Report is usually configured to work with one of two types of database. This section of the knowledge base covers multivalue databases such as those used by Eclipse and Prelude. There is another section of the knowledge base that covers relational databases such as those used by SX.e, Profit 21, and A+.
