A recent update to Adobe's Acrobat Reader (version 2019.012.20036) has been determined to report an error when trying to open PDF exports of dashboards and scorecards from MITS Discover. The cause of the error seems to be Acrobat Reader no longer supporting a particular font used in our dashboards and scorecards.
When you try to open a PDF export of a dashboard, you'll likely see an error similar to this.
The MITS development team is aware of this error and is working on a fix. In the meantime, the workaround is to use a tool other than Acrobat Reader version 2019.012.20036.
Our suggestions include using a web browser (such as Chrome or Edge), which support PDF viewing natively, the Preview tool on a Mac if you are using a Mac, or an older version of Acrobat Reader.
